Five Daily Rituals That Can Tranform Our Lives. 

When it comes to progressing as a human being and being the best we  can be it’s best to go about creating daily rituals or habits that can shape who we are over the short and long-term.

It’s the little things such as adopting habits that serve us that change  us all for the better so we can really get the best out of life.

These Five habits, are rituals I apply daily to my own life and it has an astounding effect  on my own well being.

I know that these rituals have served me well and really created a new improved me.

I rarely worry. I keep calm most of the time, and I genuinely feel more happy and content with my life. I feel I have a purpose and I have far clearer clarity of thoughts. I also have a healthier mind and body when sticking to these habits regularly.

As I say it’s the little things that we do everyday that make a big difference in the long run.

Having something like a morning routine may seem a bit too disciplined for some but perservere and you will experience why it can be so important.

For some the difference you feel could be quite astounding after only a short-time.

I recommend everyone adopts at least 2 or 3 of these daily rituals/habits.

By all means get creative and put your own spin on them, make it fun, make it something you want to  be doing, start your day with a excited bang!


Here are five rituals to better yourself day after day.

1. List 10 things you are grateful for in your life upon waking up in the morning.

What are you grateful for? Being grateful for what you have is going to bring a happy/positive start to your day. You’ll be surprised what an effect it can have.

Adding to this: Go for a walk! Feel in your heart all that you are grateful for, if you can’t walk in nature even better! Appreciate your surroundings and get in touch with the abundance of beauty in your life.

2. Meditate

Either sitting meditation or deep breathing and stretching such as Yoga or Bio-energetics.

I personally do deep breathing, stretches and mobility in the mornings, for me it’s such a powerful way to start my day.

Or start your day with meditation.

Spend 5 – 10 minutes to begin with. Just sit and be aware of your breathing. Every time your mind wanders just bring it back to your breathing. Meditation is going to calm you, give you better clarity of thoughts, and give you a fresh mind to tackle the day with.

3. Read/Learn

Instead of watching television try read something you can learn from that interests you or you can benefit from. Try to watch something on You Tube you will learn from used in the right way the internet is truly a blessing. Try to learn everyday. You’ll be surprised what you can do with it!

Read books that are geared to the things you are passionate about and learn your craft!

Spend less time scrolling useless social media posts you care nothing about and more time learning about what you’re passionate about.

4. Exercise – Exercise should be a part of everyday life. So if you have been slacking on this it’s time to pick it up. Healthy body = healthy mind. Even if it’s just walking everyday! Try to make it a habit.

I recommend doing some kind of mobility/stretching routine for healthier joints, and waking up the body.

And/or lifting weights and bodyweight training (calisthenics) for a healthier, stronger you.

5. Hydrate

This is a big one for me, hydrating has become my daily habit for years now.

It sounds silly that most of us have to make drinking water a habit.

So many people are no drinking enough water!

The moment we’ll wake up the first thing on our minds must be to hydrate, I personally drink at least a pint of water when I wake up, sometimes up to a litre, then I continue drinking lots throughout the day.

Try it, you will notice the difference!

So there you have it five rituals or daily habits for a better you. Healthier, more intelligent, more relaxed you!

I know from experience all of these are going to help you in at least one area of your life. They definitely have with me!
